Polygence offers a personalized passion project experience for high school students that is fully guided by an expert mentor.
What is Polygence?
- Polygence is an online mentorship program that helps students turn their passions into tangible research projects with the support of PhD level experts.
Research Program
- The Polygence core program consists of 10 one-on-one sessions between the student and mentor. The program is structured around 3 Milestones in addition to regular assignments to ensure students make steady progress on their project. Given the diversity of projects, these milestones are designed to be as flexible as possible to accommodate any and all types of projects.
Pathfinders: Career Discovery Program
- What students get out of this program?
- Exposure to experts in 3 chosen disciplines
- Student-generated ideas for further exploration in each of the 3 disciplines
- Access to top experts who are also trained educators
- 1 Guided reflection session with trained educator to identify strengths and interests of the student
- 1 written “Passion Diagnostic Report” assembled by Polygence educator that assesses the strengths, interests, and areas of growth for the student
Students can earn high school credit for the completed research project as part of the Polygence Core Program.
