Meet The Program's Instructor: Geoffrey Gibbs
Geoff developed “Mastering the Global Game” in an effort to supplement his own sons’ education. Before he knew it, he was teaching an entire crowd of teens. Now he offers his current affairs expertise and world-wise talent to Stanza. We are thrilled to have him!
When not debating our students, Geoff serves as special counsel for the University of California and commissioner on the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission. He has experience with large enterprises such as Waste Management, Motorola Mobility, and The Walt Disney Company. He was managing principal of The Gibbs Law Group for 9 years.
Geoff is a graduate of Harvard University and earned his law degree at the University of California, Berkeley, and an Executive MBA from UCLA. He also has an M.Phil. in International Relations from Oxford University, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar.
